Extractions
Sometimes, the only option is a tooth extraction. If your teeth are impacted, too crowded, or too infected, this may be the best solution. While wisdom teeth are routinely extracted, this procedure may be required on any of your teeth.
At Davis Dental we will work closely with you and present all of your options so you can make the best decision for your overall dental health.
A Painless Process
An extraction is one of those procedures that is immediately associated with a lot of pain. We want to make your entire experience as painless as possible, though, and we have the technology and experience to minimize any discomfort and anxiety.
To Extract or Not
Wisdom teeth usually erupt between the ages of 17 and 25. Sometimes they come in perfectly straight, sometimes they cause a lot of pain as they push against other teeth. Even if they seem to be coming in straight, though, we often recommend removal because it’s hard to know if they’ll cause problems down the road.
Contact us today to learn more about this procedure. We’ll help you understand why an extraction may be necessary in your case and how we will take care of the process to make it as painless as possible.
