Crowns and Bridges

Crowns and bridges are effective cosmetic and restorative solutions if your teeth have been lost or damaged due to decay or trauma. At Davis Dental we can upgrade your smile and enhance the strength and architecture of your mouth with these procedures.

What are Dental Bridges?

A dental bridge is generally used to replace two or more teeth and is most often recommended when implants are not an option. These appliances use two existing teeth (or potentially two separate titanium implants) as anchors for the middle crown. This way they literally “bridge” the gap in your teeth.

What about Crowns?

If you have lost a significant part of your tooth we can replace the missing parts while still maintaining as much of the natural material as possible. The porcelain crown is custom made to fit in place over the old tooth and match the look and color of the teeth around it.

A crown can also be used after a root canal treatment or just to strengthen teeth that have been weakened by infections and cavities. When we want to save as much of your tooth as possible and avoid an extraction, this may be the way to go.
