Join us in welcoming Dr. David Hokanson, the newest member of the Davis Dental team! We are extremely excited to welcome Dr. Hokanson to our team, and we look forward to see his level of skill and professionalism in action starting January, 2016.
This new addition is exciting for Davis Dental because it will allow for shorter wait times and greater opportunities for same-day procedures and emergencies, making each visit easier for you. Dr. Hokanson is especially interested in wisdom tooth extractions, and he is Invisalign certified. Both of these specialties could mean an opportunity for us to offer you more options for treatments and procedures.
Dr. Hokanson enjoys building relationships with patients on a one-on-one basis and desires to help make positive changes in each one of his patient’s lives. He understands that dental visits are not always your favorite activity, which is why he takes extra measures to make your visit the most comfortable dental experience possible. His warm, caring, and gentle style helps ease any anxiety that can often be associated with dental care. In the end, Dr. Hokanson’s main concern is achieving a high level of satisfaction from you.
Like Dr. Davis, Dr. Hokanson is a Wyoming native. He is the youngest of five children and grew up in Star Valley. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wyoming and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Hokanson is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Wyoming Dental Association. He is excited to begin practicing dentistry after spending many years in school and clinic work.
Dr. Hokanson and his wife Gina—another University of Wyoming graduate—are so happy to return to Wyoming with their four children, Hallie (8), Peyton (7), Jace (3), and Taylee (1). The community here in Cheyenne has everything the couple is looking for to raise their beautiful family. Along spending time with his family, Dr. Hokanson enjoys University of Wyoming sports, golfing, and just about anything you can do outdoors.
